 Review-
Sinna’s narrator name is animal who is 19 years old ,born a few days ago the  disaster ,whose spine has become so twisted that he must walk on on four .Animal has engaging personality, a huge bundle of hopes, having group up under the protection of ma-franci,
A French nun , Animal embraces this cruel name ,claiming he has ‘no wish’ to be human being . He says grimly “I don’t know what name you could give to the things I have done”.He is realy just a small time scam artist, doing what he can to survive on the street . Animal pines for a girl whose boy friend is campaigning against the company responsible for the gas leak .
Then the campaign for justice a  hit as a court willing ,20 years on,to consider seizing the assets of the “kampani” if it does not come to court to answer charge relating to the poisoning . But this is set against a backdrop of political scheming and corruption , apparently laid by the chief minister himself. A doctress then arrives in khaufpur, Eilli barber ,to run a free clinic four people suffering the after effects of poison .

She finds things hard going as the town tries to decide wether to trust her. Writing about devastation without to sinking sentimentally is treacherous task ,animal sneers at a journalist , accusing him of coming Khaufpur ”to suck our stories from us ,so stranger in far of countries can marvel there is so much pain in the word”. Later on an Indian doctor describing the disaster of his American collegue  confides ,”on the night moon was two third full,it was shape like a tear and as it appeared through the clouds of gas, it was the color of blood”.
At last animal retreat of his improvised home in the abandoned factory ,”Listen how quite”, He remarked “ No birds song ,no hoppers in the grass ,no bee hum, insect cant survive “.
Animal’s charactor
The central character, who is also the narrator of this story, is the force which gives the novel its incredible emotional power. You see his name is derived from the fact that his spine is so crooked and bent that he has to go around on his hands and knees – like an animal. He's been told that he came into the world the night of the explosion .
Sharply observed, hilarious, tender and heartbreaking, Animal People is a portrait of urban life, a meditation on the conflicted nature of human-animal relationships, and a masterpiece of storytelling. Filled with shocks of recognition and revelation, it shows a writer of great depth and compassion at work.
Analysis-
This is a book about cynical exploitation by big business of the situation in less affluent countries. It is about the corruption that hampers the fight for justice and compensation for the victims and it is about the lack of any true understanding by outsiders of the real plight of those who live in `the kingdom of the poor'. It is also a book which brings all this alive in a very visceral way. Noone could be left untouched after reading this novel. Beyond the wonder of experiencing Animal, the reader is taken on an adventure through the hells of an insubstantial legal system. Justice is a major theme in the book, but the story leaves the reader wondering just how one is supposed to obtain justice if it cannot be obtained through the courts or the government.
  Conclusion-
The story  manages to weave a mirthful and magical tale, even through tragedy, the drama of the struggle for justice, and Animal’s fight with his own demons. It is an exciting, funny and spellbinding story from the heart of India The novel is quite interesting , avoid the irritation by using animals convoluted syntax, this novel is about the people who are forced to live in brutal circumstance yet never surrender to them and continue to rise above them on a daily basis in the slim hope that someday will bring improvement. Profane, piercingly honest, and scathingly funny, Animal's People illuminates a dark world shot through with flashes of joy and lunacy. A stunning tale of an unforgettable character, it is an unflinching look at what it means to be human: the wounds that never heal and a spirit that will not be quenched.
